X-men Supreme Issue #60 - Mounting Losses is LIVE!

It has been an emotional time in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. The X-men have suffered a terrible loss, both on a personal level and in the larger scope of Professor Charles Xavier's dream. Throughout the history of the X-men, there have been a lot of major losses and downfalls. There have been times when the X-men have been disbanded, split up, or completely undermined. The X-men Supreme fanfiction series has had harsh defeats before, but none quite like what was experienced in the Proteus arc. Professor Xavier didn't just lose a battle against a dangerous mutant. He failed someone close to him in Moira MacTaggert and failed his own dream in showing that mutant powers can be controlled. Now the world sees the human/mutant conflict in a new light. What happens when an ordinary human becomes imbued with god-like power like Proteus was? How can they ever hope to co-exist with something so threatening? These difficult questions along with the personal struggle of the X-men are the subject of the latest issue of X-men Supreme and should help add to the already growing emotion in this fanfiction series.

Issue 60: Mounting Losses

The X-men Supreme fanfiction series will continue to explore the emotional aspects of Marvel's most famous mutants, but there will always be a place for the action and adventure that X-men fans have come to know and love. I mention this because a very big event is on the horizon for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. It will be by far the biggest event for X-men Supreme to date. I know I say that about a lot of events, but with X-men Supreme Volume 3: Ashes of Hope nearing its end the big climax is drawing near! It will lead to yet more entries in the bios section for new characters as well as a few new entries in the pics section. But more than anything else, it will change the makeup of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series in a way that will lead right into the next volume! It's an exciting time to be an X-men fan and with Avengers vs. X-men nearing it's climax, I hope to fill the void left with a big event of my own!

As always, I deeply appreciate all those who take the time to provide feedback for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. A select few such as Stormbreaker and Bumlinger have taken time to review multiple issues of this fanfiction series. I can't thank them enough for their support and I strongly encourage others to follow their example. Please post your comments in the comments section for each individual issue or contact me directly with your feedback. I hope you all continue to enjoy the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!
