X-men Supreme Issue 83: Test Subject Part 2 is LIVE!

For X-men fans still excited about the recent events in X-men Battle of the Atom, I hope the X-men Supreme fanfiction series can help add to that excitement. The foundations of the Marvel universe are undergoing some major upheavals in the X-men comics. Some equally big upheavals are set to transpire in X-men Supreme. While this fanfiction series won’t utilize time travel, the threat that’s about to emerge promises to be every bit as devastating to the X-men, the entire mutant race, and the world. The pieces are falling into place, but first the X-men must deal with a crisis in Houston involving Rogue and the Brotherhood of Mutants.

Of all the X-men characters I’ve written in X-men Supreme, Rogue has always generated a very diverse response. Some of it has been positive. Some of it has been negative. I’ve noticed in reading her stories in the comics how she has gone through many changes and taken on many different roles. Sometimes I get the sense that fans and writers aren’t sure what to do with her. So in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, I’ve tried to streamline her story. She has always been defined by the effect her powers have over her. Her inability to touch is what made her vulnerable. In many ways, she symbolizes the mutants in X-men who struggle to live their lives despite the limitations of their powers. Losing the ability to touch has recently taken a toll on Rogue. Throughout X-men Supreme, I’ve shown her dealing with it in different ways. Now in this current arc, it has become too much for her.

Rogue has now made herself even more vulnerable in the Test Subject arc. In a desperate attempt to control her powers, she seeks help from former X-men, Angel, and willingly participates in a dangerous experiment. But neither she nor anyone else in the X-men could have predicted that the Brotherhood of Mutants would attack Worthington Industries in the middle of the experiment. Now Rogue’s powers have become unstable and the Brotherhood of Mutants are on the verge of stealing the last remaining ingredient Magneto needs to make his next move. What Magneto does will be the biggest event to date for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. But first, the X-men have to save their friend. It’s a prelude to an event that I hope will make a nice complement to X-men: Battle of the Atom and one I hope Rogue fans will appreciate.

X-men Supreme Issue 83: Text Subject Part 2

It’s an exciting time for X-men fans and volatile time for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. The X-men are going through many upheavals as they celebrate their 50th anniversary. It is amazing to think that the X-men have been around for half-a-century and come so far in that time. I hope to contribute to that epic with X-men Supreme and as always, I strongly encourage everyone to take the time to provide feedback. I especially want to hear from Rogue fans this time. If I did something wrong in this arc, please let me know. Either contact me directly or place your feedback directly in the issue. Every bit of feedback helps make the X-men Supreme fanfiction series better. I do take criticism to heart so please be mindful. As always, I deeply appreciate all those who have supported this fanfiction series and I hope it continues. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

  1. Do you guys plan to let Psylocke defect to Broterhood or some other Super-vilian team? Because this is perfect way to turn her into pretty dislikable character and/or realy pisst some Psylocke fans. Shame on you.

    1. Why would I want to turn her into a unlikable character? I have plans for Psylocke, but they don't involve her defecting to the Brotherhood. What she's doing now is her adjusting to life in a new body. It's not going to be a smooth adjustment to say the least. But expect her to go through some major changes moving forward. All I ask is that you give her a chance.
