Blog Update: Limited New Reviews

First off, I want to thank everybody who has been supporting this blog and my X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I really do appreciate it. However, I have some unfortunate news to share. In the real world I do have a job and that job has recently changed in a way that is going to make posting reviews to this blog exceedingly difficult. I would find a way to do it if the incentive was there, but in posting these long reviews with scans I'm getting very little in return. Very few people ever bother to post comments and more importantly, at least to me, it hasn't translated into hits on my website for X-men Supreme. These reviews are NOT easy to put together. They take hours of my time and my hope was that it would further enhance my X-men Supreme series. It hasn't. So for that reason, I'll be scaling back my reviews. There simply isn't enough reason for me to continue. I wanted this blog to support X-men Supreme more than anything else. That hasn't happened. I'm not getting hits or comments. So with no incentive and a job that's getting increasingly more hectic, I need to scale. I'm sorry for all those who enjoyed my reviews. But I just got so little feedback the effort does not justify the result. I hope you understand. Thanks again to all those who have supported this blog. I hope you continue to do so.

In other news, I did update my website. I added a bio page for Cameron Hodge. I meant to add it sooner, but I feel behind. It's there now and for anyone looking to fill in the blanks left by his story in the Uprising arc, this should do it.

Cameron Hodge - Bio

Thanks again everybody and take care.

X-men Supreme Issue 13: Bedazzeled is LIVE

The wait is over Dazzler fans! The new issue of X-men Supreme is ready and as the title suggests, a certain musical mutant named Alison Blaire takes center stage. I know it's been a while since I introduced a new character in this fanfiction series. It's a fragile balancing act between bringing new ones in and developing the ones that are already there. I like to think I'm making an effort to walk that line for now. Characters like Dazzler will have their place in the scope of this story and so will the others I plan to introduce.

X-men Supreme Issue 13: Bedazzeled

I hope this issue adds the Dazzler fans to what hope is a growing number of X-men Supreme followers. My website has recently passed 1500 hits and for what I've done so far, that's astonishing! There's still plenty more to come though and I hope to make that number climb. So all you X-men fans, Marvel fans, or just general fanficton fans should stay tuned because the best is yet to come! Thanks as always for those who have taken the time to provide feedback to my fanfiction series and for all those who haven't yet, please find the time to do so if possible. Until then, I have plenty more comic reviews to get through from this past week and plenty more material to work with on X-men Supreme. Enjoy!

X-men Supreme Update - New Rogue Pics

I meant to post this yesterday, but got caught up doing comic reviews. The new issue of X-men Supreme is still on target for a Friday release and to make the wait easier, I updated the sexy pics section again. This time, I added about a dozen pictures of the untouchable sexy that is Rogue.

X-men Supreme Sexy Ladies: Rogue Pics

Given recent events in both the mainline comics and in X-men Supreme, Rogue may not be so untouchable anymore and you know what that means! I won't spoil it, but she's definitely a character to watch in some upcoming stories. Right now, Bedazzled is shaping up to be a solid one-shot issue with all the action and general awesome readers have come to expect from X-men. Check back in on Friday to see for yourselves!

In the meantime, there are a number of comics coming out this week that I hope to review. I'll try to get them out as soon as possible, but right now my focus is X-men Supreme. Thanks to everybody for their support thus far and rest assured, there is still plenty to come.

X-men Supreme Issue 12: Revenge of Weapon X Part 3 is LIVE!

This is it! The concluding chapter to the Revenge of Weapon X arc for X-men Supreme is complete! This is a big moment for this fanfiction series. This is the first big arc of the many that will unfold. I've spent the first half of Volume 1 setting a lot of these characters up and distinguishing them from their comic and cartoon counterparts. There's going to be plenty more on the way as new characters enter and old characters change. For now, Revenge of Weapon X is a taste of the awesome to come!

Issue 12: Revenge of Weapon X Part 3

As always, I implore everyone who reads this blog or goes to my website to take some time to read and review. I really want to get some feedback at this point in the series. There's so much more I want to do and I want to do it right. I can't do that without some strong feedback so please contact me or post your comments on each issue. Thanks to all those who have joined the X-men Supreme series and I assure you there is plenty more to come!

X-men Supreme Update - John Wraith Bio

Happy belated Memorial Day everybody! A quick shout-out to all the brave men and women who make the heroes of Marvel and DC look like pussies by putting their lives on the line for freedom. We support you soldiers! Keep kicking ass!

In the meantime I've done a quick update to X-men Supreme. I added General John Wraith to the bios page.

Bio - General John Wraith

Now I understand that this version of Wraith is very different from the 616 comics. I've gotten a number of emails regarding this and let me clarify that the John Wraith I'm using for X-men Supreme is more in line with his Ultimate incarnation. Keep in mind I'm taking inspiration from more than just 616. Wraith's Ultimate version has more potential with what I want to do for this series in terms of Wolverine's story and that of Weapon X. I plan on fleshing it out a bit more down the line, but for those of you confused at where Wraith is coming from so far in X-men Supreme please use the bio page as a reference. I hope it helps.

Thanks and I noticed I have a total of 5 followers now. This is a quick shout-out to each one of them! Thanks for noticing me! I have plenty of updates planned including some new comic reviews complete with scans. Stay tuned for more updates and feel free to contact me at any time!

X-men Supreme Update - Sabretooth Bio

I know it's been a while since I updated the bios page on my X-men Supreme website. There's a good reason for it though. Some bios may contain spoilers at this point and I don't wish to spoil some of the upcoming events in the series. I kind of want people to read it and review it first. But since Revenge of Weapon X is in full swing, it seems like an appropriate time to tell the story of Victor Creed, aka Sabretooth.

Victor Creed - Sabretooth

His bio should offer some insight into his madness. That's going to be vital as the final chapter unfolds. It is still set for a June 4th release and a preview should be up by May 28th. So stay tuned! X-men Supreme is still going strong and the more support I get, the more awesome the series will be. Nuff said.

X-men Supreme Issue 11: Revenge of Weapon X Part 2 is LIVE

This was a big week for X-men Supreme. My website hit counter has officially reached 1000 hits! It may not seem like much in the grand scope of the internet, but to a humble X-men fan and fanfiction writer like myself it's huge. I can't thank my readers and fellow X-fans enough. It's been a pleasure writing X-men Supreme and I still have plenty more story to tell. Today that story continues with the next installment of the Revenge of Weapon X arc.

Issue 11: Revenge of Weapon X Part 2

For Wolverine fans and Weapon X fans in general, this story is for you! This is the biggest arc thus far, but I assure you it won't be the last. I look forward to getting feedback, especially from the ravenous Wolverine fans out there. Please feel free to post comments or send me reviews. Until next time, enjoy and take care!

X-men Supreme Issue 10: REvenge of Weapon X Part 1 is LIVE!

A new issue of X-men Supreme has been released! I know I still have a number of comics to review, but my fanfiction comes first. For all of you waiting for a review of Uncanny X-men 524 rest assured, I have the comic. I WILL review it along with the Iron Man 2 movie. In the meantime, X-men Supreme shall keep rolling along with a new arc entitled Revenge of Weapon X.

Issue 10: Revenge of Weapon X Part 1

Like the last arc, this is multi-part. Unlike the last arc, this will be much bigger! Whenever Weapon X rears it's ugly head, bad things happen and so do big changes. You'll get both in the next few issues! As always I encourage you to read and review. The more feedback I get, the more I can improve this series! Thanks to everyone who has supported me thus far and take care.

X-men Supreme Issue 8: Off Night Part 1 is LIVE

It's been a busy week with comics, but I've still found time to keep the train rolling on X-men Supreme. The next issue is officially up!

Issue 8: Date Night Part 1

This issue takes the X-men of this world and shows them in their lighter moments. They do have lives outside of kicking ass and being awesome. This chapter highlights their personal missions and their relationships. Right now the main couples are Beast/Storm, Wolverine/Jean, and Bobby/Lorna. But if you're a fan of other pairings, don't fret! There are more to come. Fanfiction has always opened the door to novel romances and X-men Supreme is no exception. I hope you enjoy the path this series takes, romantic or otherwise. Enjoy the issue!
