X-men Supreme Issue 43: War and Peace is LIVE!

The end has come, my friends. Well, the end of X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers anyways. That's right. The second installment of this fanfiction series has come to a close. I can honestly say this series has turned out better than I could have hoped. As a long-time X-men fan, it means a lot to be able to put together something like this. It means much more to have other X-men fans to share it with. X-men Supreme Volume 1: Mutant Revolution was about establishing the X-men and the world they lived in. X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers was about escalation. In the end Magneto changed the world in ways that will have long-lasting ramifications. Those ramifications will be explored in X-men Supreme Volume 3, but before we get to that story we must close out this one. With one issue left, I'm proud to end X-men Supreme Volume 2: Mutant Revolution. Thanks again everybody! I hope I've done something that X-men fans everywhere can appreciate.

Issue 43: War and Peace

So now that X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers is over, what's next for this fanfiction series? Well like I already said, there will be a Volume 3. I don't have a name for it yet, but I will announce it soon. Before we get to that point, I plan on doing another installment of Supreme Reflections. So many things happened to so many characters that there's no way I could have explored everything in Volume 2. I hope to dig a little deeper with some fan favorites as well as some important relationships. Stay tuned for more details! I also plan on doing something extra special before I begin Volume 3 of this fanfiction series. Stay tuned to for more details.

X-men Supreme Issue 42: Overlord Part 5 is LIVE!

It's here! The end has arrived! That is, the end of the Overlord saga. It's the biggest event of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series to date and I couldn't be more thrilled. This issue is a game-changer. The world of X-men Supreme will never be the same! The seeds of a new world will be planted. New plots will begin while others will end. There will be omens of things to come and scars that will not easily heal. The scale of this fanfiction series has always been a focus as I develop this world of X-men. X-men Supreme Volume 1: Mutant Revolution set the stage. X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers has now used that stage to begin a new kind of show. For all you readers that have been following this fanfiction tale with bated breath, I hope it's worth it!

Issue 42: Overlord Part 5

As if capping off Overlord wasn't enough, I also received another generous submission to the pics section. My old friend, MarvelWriter03 crafted another beautiful piece for X-men Supreme. This one is a supremely awesome version of Kitty Pryde. Once again, I'm humbled by his talent and his willingness to take time to create such a piece. Now that Overlord is over, there will be one issue left in X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers. This issue will tie up the remaining loose ends and set the stage for X-men Supreme Volume 3. Whereas Volume 2 was all about growth, X-men Supreme Volume 3 will be all about scale. I'm looking forward to making it awesome! As such, it is very important that I receive feedback and comments on this issue and any subsequent issue. The generous support I've received has been great so far, but the more I get the more I can ensure that X-men Supreme will remain consistently awesome. X-men Supreme Issue 42: Overlord Part 5 PREVIEW

It's almost here! The end of the biggest event to date for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is nearly upon us! It's been such an exciting ride thus far. This fanfiction series has come a long ways. Many of the events that were established in Volume 1: Mutant Revolution are set to clash with the events that have since transpired in Volume 2: War Powers. The X-men are prepared to clash with Magneto in what promises to be the final showdown. The world is at stake. Plenty of damage has already been done. How much left can the X-men salvage? All will be revealed in the upcoming issue! As such, I've prepared a brief preview to show the kind of awesome you can expect!

It was a devastating display of his power. Magneto didn’t even break a sweat doing it. He showed how he could easily end them on a whim. All it would take is a mere thought and he could squeeze the life out of them or cut off their air supply. The machine rally had taken his powers to a new level. It was a power the X-men could never hope to match.

“Your tenacity is admirable, X-men. But you’re interference has tried my patience for the last time,” said Magneto in a dominating tone, “You stopped my revolution before. You will not stop it again. I have the power of all the magnetic energy in the world at my disposal. There is no way I can be stopped. This time, humanity will be defeated! Mutants shall emerge victorious!”

“Zhis your idea of victory? Mass destruction and genocide!” spat Nightcrawler.

“It is the fate humanity rightfully deserves! Their barbaric ways have shown them to be unfit to inherit this world!”

“Like you’re an improvement?” scoffed Rogue.

“Yeah, you’re the barbaric one!” exclaimed Marvel Girl, “Millions of people are out there suffering and scared because of this asteroid and you take a perverse pleasure in it!”

“I assure you, I feel no joy in doing this, but humanity has no one to blame but themselves,” said Magneto, “Now they are doomed.”

“If you don’t stop this we’ll all be doomed!” yelled Cyclops, “Mutants will suffer every bit as much as humanity!!”

“Oh please,” scoffed Magneto, “Spare me your emotional pleas.”

“I’m dead serious!” said the X-leader seriously, “Right now, there are sentinels en route to Genosha! The President and the UN have been rebuilding them since the uprising! If you don’t back down, they’ll destroy us all!”

Magneto scoffed at this revelation. He should have known the humans would formulate some sort of response. But he expected something more than this.

“Sentinels? Don’t insult my intelligence, boy! I have enough power to destroy an army of sentinels in the blink of an eye!”

“That’s exactly what they’re expecting!” Cyclops went on, “But those sentinels are strapped with canisters of a gas that’s poisonous to mutants! You destroy them and you’ll unleash it over the entire island!”

“You’re bluffing,” spat Magneto.

“He’s telling the truth!” exclaimed Angel, “My dad’s company helped make that gas! I know what it can do! You won’t just be responsible for the death of humanity! You’ll be responsible for the death of your own people! Is that a price you’re willing to pay?!”

Magneto stared down the winged mutant and his associates. It felt like a ruse, but it sounded too reasonable to be a lie. He had seen in humans like Hodge the ability to pull devious surprises. It was a huge risk on their part, attacking the man who could stop the asteroid. But the humans were desperate. This would definitely fit such tactics.

But even if what the X-men were saying was true, the mere thought of backing down was outrageous. He had come so far. There was no way he was going to let some foolish human ploy stop him now.

“If this is humanity’s way of taking a stand, so be it,” said Magneto, “It will not do them any good. The asteroid will still hit. They are still doomed to extinction.”

“Erik, listen to reason!” urged Professor Xavier, who had by now crawled up to the base of the machine, “This war you wish to rage on humanity will not have any victors! All these deaths that you attribute to humanity will be a burden you and you alone bear!”

“It’s part of mutually assured destruction, Charles. If the humans are willing to wipe my kind our, I am willing to do the same. I would rather die with my kind than let generations suffer under human tyranny!”

“You’re being irrational, Eirk! All that power is deluding your thinking!” exclaimed Charles Xavier.

“You’re wrong! My thinking has never been clearer!” said Magneto, seething with power and rage, “If humanity wants an endgame! I’ll give them an endgame!”

Professor Charles Xavier was at a loss. He now sensed in the mind of his old friend that he could not be reached. He was too consumed with power and rage. There was no stopping him now. Now flushed with near limitless power, he seemed to have abandoned whatever sanity he once salvaged. All hope seemed lost for the friend he once treasured.

“Okay, it’s official. Magneto has lost his dang mind!” said Rogue.

“You’re just figuring that out now?” grunted Wolverine, “When I get my hands on him, I’ll…”

“I don’t zhink anybody vill reach Magneto at zhis point, Wolverine,” lamented Nightcrawler, “God help us all.”

None of the X-men were ready to start praying. They continued to struggle from their confines while Shadowcat tried to kick her legs to reach the edge again. They couldn’t allow Magneto to win like this. He was willing to kill them all, even himself, to defeat humanity. So long as they were still breathing, they were going to fight this madman. But they may end up needing divine assistance to get them out of this one.

The X-men were powerless. Magneto in contrast was all powerful and going insane from power. They had sentinels with poison gas coming their way and an oversized asteroid still on a collision course with Earth. Magneto was content to let it all come together in a final stand. But for Forge, who had been avoiding the fight and watching from affair, it was not the outcome he hoped for this endeavor.

So far, I've been very pleased with how X-men Supreme has panned out. However, I still feel there's plenty of room for improvement. I want this fanfiction series to continue. In order to ensure that it remains as awesome as possible, I urge all my wonderful readers to provide feedback. As Volume 2 draws to a close, I hope to update the pics and the bios section. I also hope to get more commissioned art to further enhance the awesome for this fanfiction series. X-men Supreme Issue 41: Overlord Part 4 is LIVE!

The penultimate issue of the Overlord saga has arrived! It's a big moment for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. This arc has already made sweeping changes that can never be undone. The X-men are on the run. They are no longer heroes in the eyes of the government. They are like every other mutant, a threat to humanity that Magneto now leads. They have been forced out of their home and have opened old wounds in the Worthington family for a slim chance at stopping this madness. Secrets have been revealed. Ex-girlfriend have returned to further torment the X-men. Now they must make some tough choices before Magneto dooms the world to destruction. The end is near and nothing will be the same for X-men Supreme. I hope you enjoy it!

Issue 41: Overlord Part 4

As Overlord nears it's end, X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers will near it's end as well. This volume has been a blast to write. After writing X-men Supreme Volume 1: Mutant Revolution, the stage was set for so many stories. I only got to tell a small fraction of them, but I'm happy with how it's panned out and I'm even happier with what little feedback I've gotten from it. I'm always looking to improve this fanfiction series. So it's more vital than ever that you wonderful readers send me reviews and feedback. Please post it on each issue or contact me whenever you please. The end of this arc will set the stage for Volume 3 of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. New X-men Supreme Artwork - Issue 22: Family and Fiends Part 1

Happy Labor Day from the world of X-men Supreme! I hope everybody is enjoying their holiday. I'm still hard at work on the new issue for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. The next issue in the Overlord saga is still scheduled for release later this week. In the meantime I have a very special update to make. I received another wonderful commission from Brian Brinlee. I know I always make a big deal of this, but I feel his work is one of the best parts of the pics section on this website. Today, he began his commissions on X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers. It started with the first issue, Issue 22: Family and Fiends Part 1. It's a great piece with a great sense of scenery. I think it is one of his best yet! I know I say that a lot, but I'll let the piece speak for itself. You can see it in the pics section.

X-men Supreme Issue 40: Overlord Part 3 PREVIEW

We're officially at the halfway point of the biggest event in the history of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series! I've been working long and hard, making sure this event is as big as any X-men event ever told by Marvel comics. I know that's a tall order for a fanfiction series, but I'm trying to treat this as something much more than that. As with all great stories, great tribulation will lead to great change. In the last issue, Magneto fired the first shot of the conflict. Now the X-men and all of humanity must try to respond. Their struggle takes an unexpected turn in the next issue. As usual, I've prepared a preview for the next Earth-shaking issue of X-men Supreme.

Lorna shot around to see her half-brother standing in front of her in street clothes, casually eating a bag of chips. She instinctively got defensive, having not spoken to her siblings since the uprising.

“Pietro! What do you want?” she demanded.

“Take it easy, half-sis. I’m not here to fight,” he said with his mouth full of chips, “I’m just here to pay a friendly visit to the only girl in our family who doesn’t seem outraged by the way they’re treating our father.”

“I am outraged! But if you think you can get me to turn my back on my friends or my mother, you’re going to be disappointed!” she said, making some of the metal around her move, “Now are you going to leave me alone or am I going to have to make you?”

“Wow, Wanda was right. The women of the family do seem to inherent father’s temper,” commented Pietro.

“I’ll take that as a no,” grunted Lorna as she levitated a couple of chairs around her.

At this point, Pietro quit the jokes and got serious. He threw away his empty bag of chips and held his hands up innocently.

“Whoa there! We’re already in a hospital, Lorna. Let’s not add to the body count,” he said calmly.

“Then explain yourself or go away!” she said.

“Fine, but you’re going to owe me big time after I do this little favor,” he said.

“Favor? What are you talking about?” said Lorna, letting the chairs down.

“This,” he said as he pulled out some folded up pieces of paper from his pocket, “I did a little rummaging through the files here. Turns out the doctors have been keeping a few secrets from you.”

Pietro then handed the papers to Lorna. Curious but suspicious, Lorna kept her eye on her estranged brother as she unfolded them. They appeared to be some kind of medical records, not unlike the ones she saw the doctors carrying around all the time. She recognized them as belonging to her mother. They were a detailed record of her treatments since she arrived at this hospital, but what really caught her eye were the comments made at the bottom.

Her heart jumped up into her throat when she read those ominous words. Words like terminal and irreversible dominated every sentence. The line at the bottom was the hardest to read. It confirmed what she had been dreading for so long now.

“Six weeks…that’s all she has?!” sobbed Lorna, “Six week before…”

She couldn’t even say it. She dropped the paper and had to lean on the wall for balance. Pietro quickly caught her to keep her from completely falling over. She was on the verge of breaking down. Her mother was dying and now she had a time limit. Just six weeks at the most and she would be gone.

“I’m sorry, Lorna. I really am,” said Pietro in as sincere a tone he could manage.

“No…it can’t be!” she sobbed, “Xavier said this place was the best! This is where she could get the treatment that would…”

“Xavier makes a lot of promises he can’t keep. It’s sort of his thing.”

“Shut up! My mom is dying and you’re using this to spite Xavier?!” she exclaimed.

“I’m just stating facts, Lorna,” he said bluntly, “Trust me, I take no joy in saying this. But it’s too late for your mother. There’s nothing you or Xavier can do for her.”

Lorna looked at her brother bitterly and then back at her mother. As much as she resented him, she knew he was right.

“No…not like this,” she said, looking at her mom, “I can’t lose her!”

“You don’t have to,” said Pietro, putting a hand on her shoulder, “Remember those healers father promised you during the uprising? That promise still stands you know.”

“What healers?” scoffed Lorna bitterly, “There were no healers! If so, why didn’t you offer them before when my mother still had a chance?!”

“That was then. This is now,” said Pietro ominously, “The situation has changed on Genosha. Something’s come up…something Wanda and I want you to be a part of.”

“Didn’t we already go through this before?” said Lorna bitterly, “You tried to get me to go along with a war to save my mother!”

“This is different. What we’re planning this time is worlds away from the uprising against Hodge,” grinned the speedster, “You want to save your mother. But what about the world she’s going to live in? Don’t you want that to be something worth living in?”

“That depends. What does this plan entail that’s so different than the last one?” asked Lorna skeptically.

“That I can’t tell you because I sincerely don’t know. All I can tell you is that you gotta decide now because it’s all going down soon. You want to save your mother? You can. You just have to give me and Wanda a second chance.”



Also, when reading the next issue keep an eye out for a few special details. There's something I've been hinting at and concealing since the beginning of this fanfiction series. It involves a certain character and a certain relationship. It was mentioned earlier in this event, but the full story will become clearer by the end of this issue! Keep an eye out for it and you'll see what I mean! Now recently, I know I haven't been updating the pics or bios section. That's because I've been sinking so much of my time into this big X-men Supreme event. I promise I'll try to catch up when all is said and done. In the meantime, please take time to review this series or contact me with feedback. X-men Supreme Issue 38: Overlord Part 1 PREVIEW

It's been a steady progression for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series lately. Volume 2: War Powers has shaped up nicely from story to story. The X-men are dealing with a world that has a mutant nation scaring the public to no end. That conflict has been steadily escalating as this fanfiction series continues to unfold. Well now it's about to take a massive leap! X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers is nearing it's end. That means the big climactic arc is upon us! Just as Uprising before it, this arc will forever change the face of X-men Supreme.

Thus I submit to you an arc I call Overlord. In this arc, the events that have been developing throught Volume 2: War Powers start coming together. The X-men mythos has often been defined by big moments with certain characters. None will be bigger in this story. Both Volume 1 and Volume 2 will affect where this massive event leads. In the end, expect a world very different from the world that started out in Volume 2: War Powers. It sets the stage for X-men Supreme Volume 3, which I already have planned out! There are some amazing stories that lie ahead, but the X-men have to make it out of Overlord first! I've provided a brief preview. It should set the stage for the biggest moment in this fanfiction series to date!

“So if this plan succeeds, are you certain Magneto will agree to help me?” asked Exodus.

“If it succeeds? Please, Exodus, you should know by now that Magneto leaves nothing to chance,” scoffed Mystique, “And don’t worry. Whatever this ‘serious issue’ of yours entails, he’ll assist so long as he deems it important.”

“It IS important,” said Exodus strongly, “More important than I can possibly describe.”

“You’ll need to be more specific if you’re to get Magneto’s attention. Why are you so certain he can help you anyways?”

“I’m not. But I’m a broken man with too many conflicting memories to make sense of. What I know will affect mutants more than this endeavor ever will. Only someone like Magneto could possibly understand it.”

“We’ll see about that,” said Mystique skeptically.

Exodus’s expression hardened. Mystique still wasn’t sure what to make of this mysterious man. As powerful as he was, he had to be the worst wreck of a man she had come across since Wolverine. He seemed to suffer from delusions of grandeur, believing he held the key to mutant salvation. She was inclined to believe he was mad, possibly even schizophrenic. If Magneto was to hear him out, hopefully he would come to the same conclusion and put him out of his misery. In the meantime he was a useful ally.

After a few more tweaks, Forge closed up all the wiring panels and stepped back. Tossing aside his welding goggles, he ran up and down the control consoles lining the walls. One by one, he flipped the switches to begin the power-up sequence. Lights all around the machine came on as it gave off a distinct humming noise. The rings around the device started spinning and a light at the tip of the antenna came on.

Once powered up, Forge ran over to the four cold fusion engines he built from the diesel engines Mystique and Exodus smuggled in earlier. He linked all four of them up with heavy duty superconductor wires. He modified them so that they could pack enough energy to power a continent. These were the devices that would give the device the bulk of the power it needed to do its job. Even with these levels of power, they would only get one shot.

“Hold onto your butts!” said Forge, brimming with excitement, “As soon as these puppies charge up, we’re ready to fire!”

“Is the targeting system locked on?” asked Mystique as she checked her watch, “We’ll only have a few minutes window.”

“Locked and in our sights!” affirmed Forge, “Trust me, a few minutes is all we need!”

Forge adjusted the dials on the fusion generators. He also monitored the status of the machine with a remote control he had built into his watch. Several status bars indicated the readiness of the machine. They were still loading while the generators powered up. As the energy grew, the fusion cells started glowing bright blue. The humming grew louder, indicating more energy being concentrated into the device.

As energy flowed into the machine, the rings started glowing in a bright aura of yellowish energy. The base plate started glowing as well, becoming inundated in a hazy greenish halo. The metal tools throughout the area started coming to life, being flung around and about wildly. It indicated the presence of a very powerful magnetic field. Mystique and Exodus were forced to step back further, but Forge ignored the danger and kept monitoring the generators.

“Thirty seconds and we’ll be at full power!” he announced.

“Is it supposed to be this loud?” asked Exodus over the commotion.

“I don’t know! I’ve never built something like this before! But in my experience, noise is a good sign something big is about to go down!”

After adjusting the last few dials, the fusion engines erupted in a burst of bright blue light. It was so bright it nearly knocked Forge off his feet. But he quickly recovered and ran to join Mystique and Exodus behind a barrier of rocks.

By now, the machine was glowing brightly. The rings were spinning at an increasingly fast pace. It got to the point where they were just glowing blurs surrounding the machine. The greenish halo at the bottom plate kept getting brighter as well, pulsing ominously as the energy built up. As the pulse brightened, the tip of the antenna started glowing a similar color. There was so much energy it caused the whole lair to shake. Rocks and equipment were knocked over and entire walls started to collapse.

The window drew closer. Mystique, Exodus, and Forge watched with anticipation as the energy kept growing. It got so intense it caused the top part of the lair to blow open. Rock and metal support beams shattered and were literally shot out through the roof of the lair like a volcano. Now with a gaping hole in the ceiling, they could see the cloudy skies above them. The device now had a clean shot at it’s target.

“It’s charged!” said Forge, “Prepare to fire in 5…4…3…2…1…”

The three mutants were forced to take cover and shield their eyes as the device erupted in a blinding flash of greenish-yellow light. When they opened their eyes and looked up, they saw a concentrated beam of energy shoot out into the sky. It was so powerful it literally thrust away the clouds in it’s way creating a perfect circle in the overcast. The machine let out a low-pitched pounding noise as it fired, causing the structure to shake even more as it unleashed its massive buildup of energy.

Then within the span of two seconds, the glowing faded and the pulse stopped. All four fusion generators sparked and were utterly burnt out. One even caught fire. The structure was still shaking even after the device fell dormant. When all was said and done, the lair was still a mess. But the machine was intact.

There was a heavy silence among them at first. Forge was still gazing in awe at what his creation just did. Mystique and Exodus were quicker to recover.

“Did it work?” asked Exodus.

Forge ran out over the debris and brought up an image on the console. After some quick typing, he got the final status report. What he saw brought a smile to his face.

“It worked,” he grinned, “My machine worked!”

X-men Supreme Issue 33: Sinister Intent Part 2 is LIVE

The saga continues in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series! This important arc is ready for the next step in what I promise will be a major game-changer for the world of X-men Supreme. I know I've been saying that since the beginning, but I wouldn't keep repeating it if I didn't mean it. X-men Supreme has already dealt with some major events that have affected the X-men in profound ways. Sinister Intent is a different kind of event and not just becuase it introduces a new and familiar villain in Sinister. Characters such as Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Rogue have undergone significant changes since this fanfiction series began. They're about to undergo more drastic changes and it continues with this new issue! Enjoy!

Issue 33: Sinister Intent Part 2

This arc has only one issue left. Once complete, the X-men Supreme fanfiction series will enter a new stage. Volume 2: War Powers has a number of themes that I've been developing since it began. Those elements are all building towards something big. X-men Supreme underwent a radical change at the end of the first volume. Expect it to be even more drastic at the end of this volume! Each volume of X-men Supreme has a certain focus and goal. I'm trying to structure them so that any X-men fan can start with any volume and still be able to follow along. I have so many stories left to tell and this arc will affect many of them!

X-men Supreme Issue 31: Memory Musings Is LIVE!

It's been a busy couple of weeks. The X-men Supreme fanfiction series is entering new territory and I've had to proceed carefully. The X-men mythos has a lot of material to work with. Some of that material has been underdeveloped. With X-men Supreme, I hope to develop a distinct style of storytelling that fanfiction fans and X-men fans alike will appreciate. The last issue put a new twist on Juggernaut. This issue will give the same treatment to John Proudstar. He's a classic X-men character that's easy to overlook. In X-men Supreme, expect him to play a much bigger role. In a way he already has. That's what this new issue is going to establish. The world of X-men Supreme didn't start with issue 1. Prepare for a new insight into the history of X-men Supreme! It will open the door to a new host of stories that will factor heavily into upcoming events.

Issue 31: Memory Musings

Now like any Marvel universe, X-men Supreme has plenty of history. Thunderbird is just part of it. This is the first time I'm really digging into it, but it won't be the last! I have plans to tell more stories about the X-men prior to issue 1 in the pipeline. I can't talk about it just yet since most of those plans are still tentative.

However, I can say that past events described in this issue will factor heavily into the next major arc! The past and the present are about to collide in a big way! This fanfiction series is about to take another major step that certain X-men fans will find very intriguing. I wish I could give more hints, but you'll just have to keep reading!

X-men Supreme Issue 26: The Ties That Terrorize LIVE!

Here we go! The next installment of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is ready! No more teasing and previews. I promised that the next installment of X-men Supreme would bring some surprises and new faces. Now I'm here to deliver! X-men Supreme is entering a new area. It's not enough to simply progress from the story that began in Volume 1: Mutant Revolution. Like the real X-men comics, X-men Supreme will develop new stories along the way. Many of these stories will tie together while others will be of a more personal nature. This latest issue marks the beginning and progression of such a story with X-men Supreme. It'll set the stage for some much bigger developments in Volume 2: War Powers!

Issue 26: The Ties That Terrorize

There are so many things I want to do with X-men Supreme. I know I've made that clear before, but I keep saying it because I mean it. The next few issues of Volume 2 won't just bring in some familiar characters to all those who breathe X-men. It will craft a different story surrounding those characters. X-men Supreme isn't just about telling a story. It's about building a novel background story for these characters that captures their essance while being salient to X-men fans of all kinds. Since this kind of project is so ambitious, I urge readers and X-men fans alike to send me feedback. Please contact me or post comments on each issue. I know some people are very passionate about certain characters. I want to those characters justice in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series! In order to succeed, I need to get input from the fans. X-men Supreme Issue 25: Power Play is LIVE!

It's that time again! No more teasing and no more hyping! The X-men Supreme fanfiction series continues today! The first arc of X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers is complete. Family and Fiends set this next phase in this fanfiction series into motion. Now X-men Supreme continues to unravel the events that have spun from the events of Volume 1: Mutant Revolution. The world of X-men Supreme is differnt now. Magneto is in prison. Genosha is subject to a military occupation. The mutants that Magneto recruited did not get what was promised to them. The only leader they have left is Wanda Maximoff and it's not yet clear if she can fill her father's shoes. The X-men have a new member in Nightcrawler, but they still have old battles to fight. That's where this new issue comes in!

Issue 25: Power Play

X-men Supreme is about more than just the X-men. It's an entire world with political, social, and economic ramifications that go beyond mere heroics. This fanfiction series is on a large scale so I'll be doing my best to cover that world and beyond. I know it's still early for X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers. It's a given that changes will come, but beyond those changes will be a general evolution of the world surrounding the X-men. This one issue should offer a brief taste of that world. There are plenty more to come! Some major events and some new characters will show up. You'll see!

As always, I strongly encourage everyone to read and review each issue I post. There's a lot going on in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series and I want to make it as good as it can possibly be. X-men Supreme Issue 24: Family and Fiends Part 3 is LIVE

The X-men Supreme fanfiction series keeps rolling along! Today is the day the first arc of the Volume 2: War Powers comes to a close. I wanted to jump right into the action with with this next stage in X-men Supreme and the Family and Fiends arc has filled that roll nicely. One of the goals I had for Volume 2: War Powers was to expand the breadth of this fanfiction series and that included bringing in new characters. Nightcrawler was at the top of my list to add. I felt I had to because he was recently killed off in the 616 comics and has been dead in the Ultimate comics for a few years now. He's one of those X-men who is iconic and recognizable in his own right. For X-men Supreme, I wanted to set him apart from his predecessors while keeping the qualities that make Kurt Wagner awesome! So for all you suffering Nightcrawler fans, I give you the last chapter of Kurt's introduction to the world of X-men Supreme.

Issue 24: Family and Fiends Part 3

Now I'm taking a bit of a risk with Nightcrawler in this series. While I am trying to make him different, there are some elements I'm using from the X-men comics that may be a bit controversial. For anyone who is familiar with Nightcrawler's history, you'll understand when you read the latest issue. I'm trying to take what Marvel has done and not just put my own twist on it, but make it better. That's a challenge because not everything Marvel has done has gone over well with X-men fans. This is why it's so vital for readers to provide me with feedback as I develop this series. X-men Supreme will have a lot of elements so please comment on every issue you can or contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I'm always willing to listen!

So the first arc of X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers is in the books! There are still plenty more to come so stay tuned for more update! Now that Nightcrawler has been introduced, I'll be adding him and Mystique (who I've been putting off until after this arc) to the bios section. X-men Supreme: Supreme Reflections DELAY

I know this is the point in the week where I would usually go on about a big update for X-men Supreme and up the next entry. However, it's been a very busy week for me. I've been working on Supreme Reflections as much as I can, but it's come a lot slower than I expected. I also haven't been getting as much feedback as I hoped. The X-men Supreme fanfiction series can only be so awesome if there isn't much feedback. So for this and other reasons beyond my control, I cannot update Supreme Reflections today.

I know this is the first time I've had to delay something with X-men Supreme. I hope it's the last, but updating weekly is a lot harder than updating biweekly. This series requires a lot of hard work and I'm constantly revising and editing it. There's always something to tweak and for Rogue's entry into Supreme Reflections, I need more time. If you have any questions or concerns about Supreme Reflections or the X-men Supreme fanfiction series in general please contact me. I promise I will not let this series be delayed beyond two weeks. It's important that I keep up the pace and I'll find a way to do so no matter how busy I get. Excelsior!

X-men Supreme Update: Supreme Reflections - Logan

The X-men Supreme fanfiction series is ready to move forward! Volume 2 is still in the works, but as I work out the details for this portion of the saga I'm ready to present my generous readers with something that I hope will be the icing for Volume 1: Mutant Revolution. As I announced previously, I'll be releasing a small mini-series called Supreme Reflections. This series of character vignettes are meant to compliment the stories told in Volume 1. It should also fill in a few blanks for those who haven't read over the bios page. Hopefully this is more interesting and today the new series begins with a little insight into the X-men's most famous Canadian, Wolverine.

Supreme Reflections: Logan

I hope the many rabid Wolverine fans are satisfied with this little insight into his inner workings. As always I encourage everyone to review each new issue or provide comments by contacting me. Either way is fine as long as I get feedback. This fanfiction series thrives on feedback and based on what I've received so far, I'm going to try and make Supreme Reflections weekly instead of biweekly. That means readers won't have to wait long for the next installment. As such, here is a quick preview of what you can expect:

Nature is paradoxical force. It’s unpredictable, chaotic, and destructive. Yet at the same time it’s ordered, rational, and nurturing. It’s one of the few facets of life that nobody can take for granted even if they tried. One way or another, nature will impact the world and the lives of everybody on it.

Nature for me takes on a very different meaning. Ever since my powers manifested, I’ve had this profound connection with nature. I feel it in a way that no words can describe. I can manipulate it in a way that seems nothing short of miraculous at times. I liken it to reaching out and grasping the untouchable. It’s a feeling every mutant experiences with their powers to some degree. Whether it’s power of mind, body, or environment what we do gives us the ability to interact with a world so few have access to. Mine just happens to be the elements of weather.

I hope to continue this mini in rapid succession, but if feedback is light or the outside word starts applying too much pressure it might go back to biweekly. For now, this is the beginning and I hope it wets everybody's appetite for Volume 2!

X-men Supreme: Issue 18 - Uprising Part 2 Preview

I've been hard at work on the final arc of X-men Supreme these past few weeks. It's shaping up to be quite a finish for Volume 1. Since this is the first big installment of this series, I'm hoping to end it in a major (and awesome) way. I've put together plot threads with Magneto, Lorna, Weapon X, Cameron Hodge, and the various relationships that include Jean/Logan, Bobby/Lorna, Hank/Ororo, and Scott/Rogue. Some of them will start to come together by the end of this arc. Others will be ripe for the next stage in X-men Supreme Volume 2. The next issue is set to come out next week, but in the meantime I've prepared a preview as always!

“Fucking Cameron Hodge,” muttered Rusty as he toiled away lifting creates with his fellow prisoners.

“Shut up, Rusty! You’re going to get us in trouble again!” said Rictor, a Mexican mutant he often worked with.

“So what? As if it can get any worse?” said the fiery mutant bitterly, “Look around! We’re prisoners! Eventually Hodge will just get annoyed with us and kill us all.”

“Don’t give him any ideas, amigo! Some of us want to live!”

“Quiet over there!” barked a guard, “One more word out of you and you’ll spend the rest of the week in isolation!”

That shut both mutants up. It wasn’t so much the fear of death that kept them in line. It was Hodge’s willingness to keep them all alive for this miserable life that truly defined his cruelty. At least other dictators had the decency to just kill their prisoners when they got annoying. Hodge, however, took a different and more mysterious approach.

Rusty continued to toil along with the other mutants. Their daily drudgery would continue from sunrise to sunset. That’s how it was every day and from the looks of it that’s how it was always going to be so long as Hodge was in power. There wasn’t a mutant on the island that didn’t want a shot at that madman. But with the way things were going, they would never have their chance.

Suddenly, their drudgery was interrupted by a deafening tone that echoed from the various speakers stationed throughout the facility. The mutant prisoners groaned while the guards instinctively stood at attention, their weapons in a combat ready position in case any mutant decided to try something. Then on the glassy dome above, a large holographic image of Cameron Hodge appeared for all to see.

“Attention all mutants. This is your master and overlord, Cameron Hodge. Due to recent tensions caused by your mutant brethren around the world, Genosha’s official policy towards mutants has changed. As of now, all mutants present will be subject to a new level of containment. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Genoshan scientists, a new system has been developed to better deal with the mutant population. And you, my ‘privileged’ citizens, will be the first to take part in it.”

There were no cheers for joy or sense of relief. The mutants of Genosha knew Hodge well enough to understand the subtext to his words. There was nothing privileged about their position. They all knew that once again they were about to bear the brunt end of Cameron Hodge’s madness.

“All guards are to clear out of the dome and seal all entrances and exits. All mutants are to drop what they are doing and gather in the central area. Disobey me at your own peril. That is all.”

X-men Supreme Issue 14: Underworld Part 1 PREVIEW

Another week has gone by and the new issue of X-men Supreme is coming along nicely. As always, I've prepared a sneak peak of the next issue for all you loyal X-men fanfiction fans. The new issue will introduce some more familiar faces from the X-men universe and as with all previous incarnations they'll have their own unique Supreme twist! The next issue will be the beginning of another arc, but it'll be a short arc. There's a much bigger event lying just ahead! Some of the seeds will be planted right here so you won't want to miss it! “So how bad is the fallout from the Dazzler affair?” asked Mystique.

“Bad enough,” replied Magneto, “That mission was supposed to galvanize humans against mutants and rally mutants to our cause. That way we would have all the manpower we need for the final and most crucial part of my plan. Now we’ll have to find other means of getting more mutants on our side.”

“Why not just stage another event as you put it? It shouldn’t take much to turn human sentiment back against mutants.”

“That’s not what concerns me at this point. Right now we need to focus all our resources on mutants, not humans. And this equipment the Brotherhood is so generously unloading for us will help with that.”

“But that can’t be all, can it?” surmised Mystique, “I’m sure you have another plan for getting the word out.”

Magneto turned to his shape shifting ally and smiled. She had been working with him long enough to realize that he always found a way to improvises.

“You know me well, Mystique,” he told her, “Since the Brotherhood is still enduring their punishment, I’m going to trust you to take care of this.”

“I figured as such,” she said as she looked callously at the laboring Brotherhood, “What do you need me to do?”

Magneto turned away and started walking back towards the transport bay where all the transport orbs were stored. Mystique followed close behind, having had enough of watching the Brotherhood drone on about their misfortune.

“I’ll be sending you into the mutant underground so-to-speak,” he said as he activated one of his transport orbs, “You’re going to deliver the message Pietro failed to deliver himself, only you’re going to do it more directly.”

“Sounds easy enough,” said Mystique with an ominous grin, “I always favored a more personal touch anyways.”

“We may not get as many supports as we would have from the Dazzler mission, but we’ll get the forces we need,” Magneto went on as he programmed the orb, “I’m sending you to a number of secretive mutant communities. Use whatever means you can to spread the word. Try not to attract the attention of the X-men. And most importantly, don’t make the same mistakes as your subordinates.”

“No need to remind me of that, Magneto,” said the shape shifter confidently, “You of all people should know how good I am at getting my point across.”

“I’m inclined to remind you of Rogue, but I’ll take your word for it. I’ll send you more detailed instructions via radio. Just get the job done and get it done fast. Time is running out. We’ll be making our move very soon.”

Magneto’s tone was stern if not threatening. He could not understate how important this part of the plan was. Mystique understood as she got into the transport orb. This plan had already taken many turns. They failed to bring Xavier under their wing with the Weapon X plan and they failed to rally their supporters with the Dazzler plan. But they were too far into it to pull back now. Too many pieces were in place. They just had to make sure it all came together in the end.

X-men Supreme Issue 13: Bedazzeled is LIVE

The wait is over Dazzler fans! The new issue of X-men Supreme is ready and as the title suggests, a certain musical mutant named Alison Blaire takes center stage. I know it's been a while since I introduced a new character in this fanfiction series. It's a fragile balancing act between bringing new ones in and developing the ones that are already there. I like to think I'm making an effort to walk that line for now. Characters like Dazzler will have their place in the scope of this story and so will the others I plan to introduce.

X-men Supreme Issue 13: Bedazzeled

I hope this issue adds the Dazzler fans to what hope is a growing number of X-men Supreme followers. My website has recently passed 1500 hits and for what I've done so far, that's astonishing! There's still plenty more to come though and I hope to make that number climb. So all you X-men fans, Marvel fans, or just general fanficton fans should stay tuned because the best is yet to come! X-men Supreme Issue 8: Off Night Part 1 is LIVE

It's been a busy week with comics, but I've still found time to keep the train rolling on X-men Supreme. The next issue is officially up!

Issue 8: Date Night Part 1

This issue takes the X-men of this world and shows them in their lighter moments. They do have lives outside of kicking ass and being awesome. This chapter highlights their personal missions and their relationships. Right now the main couples are Beast/Storm, Wolverine/Jean, and Bobby/Lorna. But if you're a fan of other pairings, don't fret! There are more to come. Fanfiction has always opened the door to novel romances and X-men Supreme is no exception. I hope you enjoy the path this series takes, romantic or otherwise. Enjoy the issue!

Two weeks have gone by and you know what that means! The world of X-men fanfiction is ready for another update from X-men Supreme! Issue 7: Mother Knows Best is live and ready for reading. For anybody who is a fan of Rogue or a fan of her ever mixed up family ties to Mystique, this issue is for you. There have been any number of comic and fanfiction stories about them. All you Rogue fans can finally exhale. The new issue of X-men Supreme is ready! Issue 6: Rogue Recruit should help satisfy your fan cravings for the untouchable southern belle the X-men know and love. Always a favorite of fanfiction writers and readers, Rogue will make some major contributions to the X-men Supreme series. Her sassy personality and rebellious attitude will take center stage in a big way. Also, I'll be posting her bios page soon so be prepared. She will have a different story compared to the comics. But don't expect to see every detail. There's a reason she's called Rogue after all.
