The X-men Supreme fanfiction series is heating up along with the
weather. Over the course of X-men Supreme Volume 3: Ashes of Hope, there
have beem stories of a very personal nature to some of the characters.
The previous issue, Issue 56: Diary of the Fallen, told such a story for Storm, Nightcrawler, and Rogue.
While the main theme of X-men has always centered around the struggle
between mutants and humans, Marvel has always taken time to tell more
character-driven stories. Like the comics, I try to do the same with
X-men Supreme.
Many times, I try to mix the two. When you can mix
character-driven stories along with the typical struggle between humans
and mutants, you've got a much deeper story. That's what I've been
trying to do here with X-men Supreme. That's also the point of this
latest issue. It takes some story elements that developed very recently
in the pages of District X and follows both family drama and some ongoing issues with the X-men's old nemesis, Magneto. Last we heard from the Master of Magnetism, he made contact with Cyclops's young, rebellious brother, Havok.
Now in this latest issue of this fanfiction series, the X-men and the
Brotherhood of Mutants are set to face off again in another conflict
that has the potential to affect the course of X-men Supreme.
Issue 57: Rivalry and Reflections
I'm very excited about the progress with X-men Supreme
Volume 3: Ashes of Hope. Already, it's shaping up to be the most intense
installment of X-men Supreme to date and it will most likely be longer
compared to the previous two volumes. I'm getting ready for a huge X-men
Supreme event and with Marvel's big Avengers vs. X-men event going on,
the timing couldn't be better. As such, it's very important I continue
to receive feedback. There haven't been too many comments aside from the
spammers that can't seem to leave this website alone. So please take
the time to post a review in the comments section of each new issue. If
ever you have any questions about X-men Supreme or want to talk comics
in general, please contact me and I'll be happy to chat. Until next
time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

X-men Supreme Issue 47: The Good, The Bad, The Sinister Part 1 is LIVE!
The time has come for the first arc of X-men Supreme Volume 3: Ashes of Hope. This fanfiction series has had it's share of arcs thus far, but none like this! Back in X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers, I introduced the X-men Supreme version of Mr. Sinister. The X-men did not defeat him during their first encounter in Sinister Intent. Since then, Sinister has been biding his time and plotting with help from someone who should sound familiar to Jean Grey and fans who know her history. Well now it's time for some of Sinister's many secrets to come out! His history with the X-men and his plans for mutants as a whole is not to be missed. Throughout the history of Marvel comics, Sinister has been behind some of the most nefarious plots for the X-men. This fanfiction series will be no different and it starts with the first issue of this new arc.
Issue 47: The Good, The Bad, The Sinister
There will be many important elements to emerge from Sinister and his dealings with the X-men. Don't expect this to be the last or the most destructive. But I promise all you passionate X-men fans out there that this arc is not to be missed! As always, I strongly encourage everyone to take the time to leave a review and provide feedback. Please contact me with all your comments or questions. I'm happy to listen. Moreover, I've been concerned about the lack of traffic to my website lately. I really want this website to grow along with this fanfiction series. To do this, I'm willing to accept help from anyone willing to provide it. Got a website of your own? Let me know and I'll post it! Got a story you want to share? Let me know and I'll be happy to post it! Got some X-men art? Let me know and I'll be happy to post it! I want this website to be special and in order to accomplish that, I'll need help. So please, if you have something you would like to contribute to the world of X-men Supreme, let me know and let's make this website and this fanfiction series truly special! Excelsior!

X-men Supreme Issue 47: The Good, The Bad, The Sinister Part 1 PREVIEW
X-men Supreme Volume 3: Ashes of Hope is off to an eventful start. This fanfiction series has set up some important plots with previous arcs. Some have been revisited. Others haven't. Well as it turns out, X-men Supreme Volume 3: Ashes of Hope hasn't had it's first official multi-part arc yet. So what better time than the return of Mr. Sinister? You saw him make his mark in X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers with Sinister Intent. Now he's back and the lingering mystery surrounding one of the X-men's most famous foes is set to be revealed! And rest assured, he won't be alone. The end of Sinister Intent offered some clues as to who he's involved with. The previous issue offered another. It's ready to come together in this crucial moment of this fanfiction series! It begins in an arc entitled The Good, The Bad, and the Sinister. As such, I've prepared an extended preview to offer a hint of what you can expect from this important arc of X-men Supreme.
Professor Charles Xavier sighed as he used the remote control to turn off the TV. He still found himself dwelling on the visions, but for now it would be best for everybody if he shifted his attention to more worldly matters.
“Take the rest of this data and secure it in the archives, Hank. I’ll get back to it later,” said the Professor as he wheeled back over to his desk.
“Of course, Charles,” said Hank with a strong sense of relief, “What are you going to do now? Will it involve other alien riddles?”
“Let us hope not,” he said with a humored grin, “I’m going to give Lilandra a call. I hope my brief absence hasn’t worried her too much.”
“I’m sure she’ll forgive you if she’s that into you,” grinned Logan, “You’d be surprised what women are willing to forgive for a guy they have the hots for. Just ask Jeannie.”
“I hope you’re right, Logan. After all, it would be nice to have something other than conflict to look forward to.”
Hank and Logan were starting to head out while the Professor was reaching for the phone. But just as he was about to grab it, the phone started ringing. It caught him, as well as Logan and Hank, by surprise.
“Damn, she really is psychic. She misses you already,” grinned Logan.
“That would be nothing short of remarkable if this were her. But it appears to be an unknown number.”
“Maybe she wants to surprise you,” shrugged Logan, “Woman like to do that.”
“Since when did you become such an expert on women, Logan?” said Hank cynically.
“Who said I was an expert? I just call ‘em like I see ‘em!”
Xavier rolled his eyes as he answered. But before he could even say hello he heard a strange voice on the other end.
“Don’t say a word, Charles. Just put Logan on the phone right now.”
It was a voice he didn’t recognize, but it didn’t sound friendly. His expression quickly grew grim as he turned back towards Logan and Hank, were just about to exit his office. He had a very bad feeling about this.
“Logan wait,” he said, “It’s for you.”
“For me?” said Logan in confusion, “What the hell could that Lilandra woman want with me?”
“It isn’t Lilandra,” he said, “I don’t know who it is.”
Logan quickly grew suspicious as well. He never got phone calls. Because of his history with the government, he tried to keep a low profile here. Xavier made it a point to ensure there was no contact information or public records that could tie him here. So if someone knew he was here, chances were it wasn’t a good sign.
“Let me see!” growled Logan as he stormed over to the desk and grabbed the phone.
With no sense of phone etiquette whatsoever, he put it to his ear and barked his response.
“Who the hell is this?!” he demanded.
“Heya old buddy. It’s been a while.”
Logan’s expression contorted in a rage as soon as he heard that all too familiar voice.
“Sabretooth!”
“Nice to hear from you too, runt! I’d love to catch up on these past few months, but we still got a score to settle! You and me never finished that little ‘conversation’ back in Canada. And if you aren’t a complete fucking coward you’ll listen up and meet me where I say you will! I’m ready to finish this, just you and me, Logan! Question is, are you?”
Logan clenched his fists and snarled, earning worried glances from the Professor and Hank. As soon as they heard it was Sabretooth, they knew it was trouble.
“Logan, tell me what’s going on?” urged Professor Xavier.
But Logan didn’t listen. He just turned away and growled into the phone.
“Where do you wanna do this bub? Better make it remote because when you’re gonna be screaming like a baby when I’m through with you!”
“Don’t worry. I’ve got the perfect place. Just do as I say and come alone. I don’t want no X-men getting in my way! This is between you and me, Wolverine! Let’s keep it that way!”
I know I've introduced some new characters thus far for X-men Supreme Volume 3: Ashes of Hope. I also know that I usually try to keep the bios up to date when that happens. I haven't been able to due largely to concerns about spoilers. Well after the events of The Good, The Bad, and the Sinister I should finally be able to add some new bios. I want to keep this series comprehensive so that new readers can catch up easily. X-men Supreme is supposed to be a fanfiction series that any fan can get into. There are plenty more stories to tell and some major revelations up ahead. I hope you all enjoy it! Please contact me if you have any questions or feedback. Until then, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

X-men Supreme Issue 46: Paradise Mystery is LIVE!
Got a big update today! The X-men Supreme fanfiction series is ready for another update. In addition, I also have some important site updates. But I know that most readers are eager to see the next issue of X-men Supreme Volume 3: Ashes of Hope. Two issues in and I've already introduced a new array of themes to this fanfiction series. I've tried to highlight the more social aspects of the X-men. They have always been a metaphor for civil rights and the past two issues have brought that into focus. However, the X-men are still seen as superheroes. As such, they face challenges that go beyond politicians if you can believe that. I always intended to add more elaborate threats to the X-men fanfiction series. Well one of thsoe treats emerges today and it involves the X-men taking a trip back to Genosha. Enjoy!
Issue 46: Paradise Mystery
In addition to this new issue, I also did an update of the pics section. I know it's been a while since I updated the ever popular X-women section. I've tried to keep up while keeping the X-men Supreme fanfiction series going. It isn't a huge update, but I did managed to find some great pics of Jean Grey, Rogue, and Mystique. I'm always on the lookout for more so if you happen to have some pics you want to see posted, please contact me and I'll be happy to post them.
Also, please take the time to post feedback on this and every other issue of X-men Supreme if you can. There has been a dip in traffic lately for this website. If I'm not doing something right, I can't correct it if no one tells me. So please provide feedback for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series and the X-men Supreme website as a whole. I work long and hard on this site and it's important that I know that others enjoy what I do. Please contact me at any time with feedback and suggestions. Thank you and I hope you all enjoy the new issue. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

X-men Supreme Issue 45: Hearts and Minds is LIVE!
It's time to shake things up in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series and today a new issue will turn the corner on this unique Marvel universe. This website is nearing 17,000 hits and I'm very excited about where this fanfiction series is heading! Part of what has made the X-men compelling since their inception has been their involvement in social issues. It's not enough for them to just be superheroes. There are others like the Avengers and Spider-Man to carry out that role. The X-men have always stood for far more fundemental issues of being different as outcasts of society. My X-men Supreme special Issue 0: Revelation X showed when the X-men accepted this role in X-men Supreme. The first issue of X-men Supreme Volume 3: Ashes of Hope showed just how hostile the world has become to mutants. It's fueling not just tension on Genosha with Magneto. It's also fueling a presidential campaign for Senator Robert Kelly. That campaign takes center stage in this new issue of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Hope you enjoy it!
Issue 45: Hearts and Minds
The larger conflicts throughout the world of X-men Supreme will continue to expand. X-men has always involved a wide array of conflicts. They can be the more social aspect of mutants or far more elaborate threats that go beyond mutants. Rest assure, there will be many such threats as this series continues to unfold. For now, it's important that readers provide feedback for this and every other issue of X-men Supreme. Please post it in the comments section for each issue or contact me with your comments. Any feedback is welcome and I'm always happy to discuss the world of X-men. Until next time, take care and best wishes!

X-men Supreme Reflections: Bobby Drake PREVIEW
It's getting to be that time of year again and I'm not just talking about the holidays. The X-men Supreme fanfiction series is entering a critical area. I'm making a big push to finish up Supreme Reflections Volume 2 so I can start on X-men Supreme Volume 3 by the end of the year. So far I've covered four of Marvel's famous Original Five X-men. There's only one left, the ever lovable Bobby Drake. Like Angel before him, he underwent some serious drama throughout X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers. His relationship with Polaris has been a major driving force throughout this fanfiction series. Now that it's over, he can take time to reflect. That's what I hope to do with the final entry of X-men Supreme Reflections Volume 2. I've prepared an extended preview of what you can expect from the X-men's lovable Iceman.
While my focus is on completing Supreme Reflections, I'm also getting ready to make a major announcement for a very special event for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Every so often, Marvel Comics will take time from continuing their epic stories to do one-shots that help add depth and history to their universe. Well the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is no different. I don't plan on following the events of this series in a completely linear fashion. I want to explore the entire history that I've set up in this unique brand of X-men. Now that I have two volumes of fanfiction under my belt, I'm ready to explore that history. I hope others are willing to explore it as well! So stay tuned for some big announcements. If you have any questions or comments in the meantime, feel free to contact me at any time. Until then, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

I shouldn’t be droning like this. I’ve never let myself get this down before. I’ve always found a way to pick myself up and make a joke out of my problems. So what happened? Why is it so much harder this time?
It’s not like I haven’t been through hardship. I was practically born into it in South Boston. I’m talking about a rough neighborhood with touch, ridged, blue-collar people whose sense of humor was as limited as their income bracket. My parents sure fit the mold. My dad busted his ass on the docks for 60 hours a week while my mom had been bussing tables at restaurants since she was 17. It was not a fun environment. Our house had more leaks in it than an incontinent dog and the only entertainment my folks would splurge on was a small TV with basic cable. It’s the last place you would expect a career class clown to emerge.
I guess it’s just how I learned to cope. When you’ve got so little growing up, you have to find a way to compensate. A sense of humor ended up working for me. I remember how when I was young, my parents would always come home tired and exhausted. They looked so miserable and being the only one not toiling away for paychecks, I took it upon myself to make them smile. I would walk into the living room with a cooking pot on my head, swim trunks on my arms, and a towel as a cape and claim I flew in from the planet Chocolaton-Five and was looking to gather all the chocolate ice cream in the galaxy. They got a real kick out of it. I wasn’t always the funniest kid, but I did get them to smile. From there, the whole jokester persona stuck.
It didn’t always go over well. I remember this time I went a little overboard with my act once. I grabbed my dad’s tools, put on my mom’s apron, and pretended to be a firefighter. It was cute at first until I tripped, bumped into the kitchen table, and knocked some of our less-than-fancy dishes onto the floor so they broke into a million pieces. To say I got yelled at would not do justice to the permanent hearing damage I probably inferred. I know now I went a little too far with that joke. It may even count as a sign of things to come with Lorna.
Bobby cringed at the many indicators that should have been obvious with Lorna. He pulled the pillow off his face and let it fall to his side. With his arms and legs now lazily draping off the couch, he let out an embittered sigh. The sorrow was becoming too much and frustration was setting in. This wasn’t right. It couldn’t be.
“Pull yourself together, Drake! The hell is wrong with you?” Bobby groaned to himself.
He wasn’t supposed to be like this. He refused to let it get him down. His missteps with Lorna couldn’t be the same as the mishaps of his past. The real Bobby Drake knew how to rise above those and move forward.

X-men Supreme Reflections: Warren Worthington III is LIVE!
The family dramas in the world of X-men Supreme continue with Supreme Reflections. This fanfiction series has dug deep into the personal affairs of the X-men on many occassions. Previous entries with Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Beast have brought out many revelations that will have a significant impact in the future of X-men Supreme. One character that endured some serious personal hardships towards the end of X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers was Warren Worthington III. He's rich. He's handsome. He has wings that allow him to fly. Yet he has a huge problem with his family name. Why is that? Some major clues have already been laid out. Now Supreme Reflections adds more layers to that cake. I worked long and hard on it so I hope you all enjoy learning more about everyone's favorite winged X-man!
Supreme Reflections: Warren Worthington III
So there's only one entry left for this volume of Supreme Reflections. After that, I have something very special planned for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. It's not quite time for Volume 3 to begin yet. Before this fanfiction series can move forward, it's important to flesh out the past. Supreme Reflections can only do so much. I have something much larger in mind that will add to it! Stay tuned for more updates. Since the holidays are upon us, additions to the pics and bios section will be slower. Rest assure, they will come. But for now, my focus is on completing Supreme Reflections and setting the stage for X-men Volume 3.
As always, I strongly urge everyone to review each entry of this fanfiction series. You can do so either by posting comments on each issue or by contacting me directly. Either way is fine. Thanks again to all those who have supported this fanfiction series. There's still plenty more to come! Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

X-men Supreme Reflections: Warren Worthington III PREVIEW
I wasn't able to update within a week this time, but that doesn't mean I'm still not hard at work on the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Volume 2 of Supreme Reflections is past the halfway point. I've had a lot of fun developing the Original Five X-men that Stan Lee and Jack Kirby made so endearing nearly a half-century ago. They've help me set the stage for what I have planned in X-men Supreme Volume 3. But that's still a ways off. I have much more I want to explore with X-men Supreme Reflections. I've had a great time developing Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Beast. However, none of them went through quite the same turmoil at the end of X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers as Angel. He not only confronted issues with his father. He came face to face with his ex-girlfriend, who broke his heart yet again. What's the story behind this? Well that's what Supreme Reflections is going to explore! I've prepared a preview here to show what can be expected of this latest entry into the mind of everyone's favorite winged mutant.
As the X-men Supreme fanfiction series prepares for it's thrid volume, it's even more important that I get plenty of feedback. I've noticed the web traffic tapering off with X-men Supreme lately. I know it may be because it's in between volumes, but I would love to find ways to keep this fanfiction series and this website strong. I plan on doing a major special after Supreme Reflection is done. I hope it helps boost this website and this fanfiction series. But if anyone else has any suggestions or feedback, I'd love to hear it! Please contact me at any time and I'll be happy to listen. Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

Warren Worthington III may very well be the most sarcastic and cynical person on the face of the planet at the moment. Considering the planet just made it through a close call with mass extinction, this was really saying something. But if Warren was a betting man, he would wager his entire family fortune that he harbored more bitterness than anyone could ever hope to match.
It was a tragedy and not of the Shakespearean kind either. He just found out the last two years of his life had been tainted by one big lie. Even though he had grown used to lies from the world outside the X-men, this one hurt. It hurt in ways no words could describe. His heart, his soul, and his very will to continue was shaken. While the X-men and the rest of the world worked to undo the damage done by Magneto, Warren Worthington III had some more personal repairs of his own to take care of.
He needed to get away from it all. He needed a clear head and a quiet place. In his experience there was nowhere on Earth quiet enough to wrestle with these issues so his only sanctuary was up in the sky within the clouds. It was probably the best use of his powers. Every day he would just step outside and go on a nice flight, taking refuge in the calm surrounding of the clear blue skies. Today happened to have the perfect weather. The winds were light, the sky was clear, and the temperatures were just right. For the past hour he had been flying around the mansion and the lake, trying to get away from everything on the ground that had caused him so much pain.
I wish I could live the rest of my days up here in the sky. It’s so much simpler up here. There’s no conflict, no heartbreak, and aside from the occasional jet fumes it smells a lot nicer too. It would be so great if I could just leave it all behind. Lord knows I’ve tried before. Even if I look like an angel, there are times I feel outright damned.
It’s pretty ironic because there aren’t many people who wouldn’t hesitate to switch places with me. I’m young, I’m handsome, I’m rich, and I can fly. It’s like I won the lottery three times in a row the day I was born. Who wouldn’t want to grow up in that kind of environment? The Worthington family isn’t just rich. They’re obscenely rich with billions of dollars of wealth. We have so much money that even the most reckless human being in the world couldn’t spend it all in one lifetime. You don’t just get a silver spoon when you’re born. You get a diamond encrusted, platinum plated, gold molded arsenal of eating utensils that you use to shovel the most expensive cuisine in existence into your mouth as if it were chocolate.
That all sounds nice on paper, but there is a long list of caveats. The cynics are right in this respect. It is lonely at the top sometimes. Money really cannot buy away problems. As if that weren’t enough, more money tends to attract more problems. Throw a family legacy and a multi-billion dollar enterprise that five generations of Worthingtons have built and you’ve got the kind of enigmas that Einstein himself couldn’t crack.
None of these problems are clear at the beginning. I sure didn’t feel that way when I was young. I had damn near everything a kid could want. My room was like a miniature toy store. If I ever wanted something, I would just ask and within a day or so I would have it. One time I wanted the latest Nintendo game, my father’s people actually called Nintendo up in Japan and had them fly the game over to me personally before it even hit the shelves. That’s the kind of wealth we’re dealing with here and I didn’t give it much thought. What kid would? But it became painfully apparent earlier for me than it did with other rich kids and it wasn’t just the burden of a family legacy.
Warren picked up speed as he flew higher into the sky, reaching an altitude just above the cloud-line. He could only fly so high before the air got too thin and or too cold. Whenever he was really upset, he often tested the limits and today was more than appropriate. He was almost at his record for altitude and a fresh stream of blistering cold soon swept over his wings and body. The winged mutant cared little for the shivers that followed. He was willing to do anything at this point to take his mind off his troubles. But even at this altitude, the conflicts of his life still followed him.
Excelsior!

X-men Supreme: Supreme Reflections - Hank McCoy is LIVE
It took a week of hard work and cost some extra sleep, but I did it! I completed the next entry of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series in a mere week. It's a lot harder than it sounds, even for Supreme Reflections. I try to put as much detail and care into X-men Supreme as possible. That's hard to do in just a week, but with the holidays coming up and continued support from my wonderful readers I was overdue. X-men Supreme is in a transition period. Supreme Reflections is a time to dig deeper into Marvel's famous X-men as they are in this fanfiction series. Cyclops and Jean Grey were a pleasure to write, especially with all the drama they endured in X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers. But they weren't the only ones. Hank McCoy had his share of drama as well. It led to some big moments for him and now with Supreme Reflections, the larger parts of his story can be told. Enjoy!
Supreme Reflection: Hank McCoy
In addition to a new entry into X-men Supreme: Supreme Reflection, I also proud to announce that I've collected another commission from my good friend, Brian Brinlee. Once again, he has contributed his wonderful artistic talent to the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. His latest piece takes a scene right out of Issue 24: Family and Fiends Part 3 and highlights a memorable flashback with Nightcrawler and Deadpool. Please check it out in my X-men Supreme Official Panels section. Thanks again, Brian!
As always, I strongly encourage everyong to post feedback on this and every other update for this fanfiction series. X-men Supreme thrives on feedback and it's important I know how to make this series better. Please contact me at any time if you wish to discuss this fanfiction series or just talk X-men. Thanks again to all those who have lent their support! Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

X-men Supreme: Supreme Reflections - Hank McCoy PREVIEW
I've been hard at work on the latest entry of Supreme Reflections for X-men Supreme. This fanfiction series has plenty of amazing stories ahead of it along with some deeper insights. I understand that waiting for it can be tortuous at times as is the case for every X-men story that comes along. Now I know that I've maintained a biweekly schedule for X-men Supreme for most of it's history. Well I would like to make those updates weekly, but as if often the case time just works against me. However, I managed to work ahead recently with this fanfiction series. As such, I'm going to try and update the next issue of Supreme Reflections sooner. The next entry is Hank McCoy, everyone's favorite ape-man X-men. I haven't had a lot of time to dig deeper into Hank's history as I have others. Well it's about time his past come to light! So I've prepared a preview that should offer a hint of what's to come.
Now I hope to finish in time for an update at the end of the week. If I don't, I'll be sure to post a message here along with an explanation. I don't imagine anything getting in the way of this update, but sometimes new issues come up. I'm deeply grateful of all the support I've had for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I really hope it continues. Such support encourages me to push this fanfiction series ahead. Please remember that active feedback and reviews help make X-men Supreme better. Please contact me with your comments at any time. I'll be happy to listen! Until then, take care and best wishes everybody! Excelsior!

Carl Sagan once said, “It’s better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.” I wonder if he had a lost love in mind when he came up with such a profound musing. It would certainly be appropriate. Cursing the darkness is the easy part when that’s all that surrounds you. Lighting that proverbial candle and using it to find the way is much more difficult.
How could anyone regardless of their aptitude in Quantum Mechanics be so foolish? I had before me what I once thought to be a statistical impossibility. A beautiful woman full of grace and majesty had given her heart to me. Together we shared a love and intimacy that transcended the superficial. What we had was deeper than mere natural instinct. For a man such as me, that alone goes a long way. Yet it all fell apart. It fell apart because I let it.
How could I be so foolish? How could I be so asinine? I grew up in a world surrounded by reason and logic. Why is it that I can apply these skills in every other endeavor except those of a personal nature?
Hank racked his brain for answers. Usually, they came easy or at the very least he was able to go through the complicated steps that would lead him to the answer. This time he was completely at a loss. He had no clues, no variables, and no formulas to work out. He had only the burden of a foolish heart.
Holding his head low, Hank swallowed a bitter growl and grabbed a piece of chalk. He then found himself jotting down some random notes on his board. This time they were of a non-intellectual nature. They were strictly abstracts. He wrote down words such as love, heartbreak, mistake, and reasons. He circled each word and then put a big question mark next to it. This crude model represented the problem his powerful intellect faced.
I suppose personal issues have always been a fickle phenomenon in the ongoing tale that is my life. Perhaps it’s because I had so few growing up. My childhood was one of privilege and opportunity. My father, Norton McCoy, was able to provide a very comfortable life for me and my mother as a scientist at Lawrence Livermore Laboratories. Not only did he put food on the table, he opened me to a world I seemed destined to be a part of.
I remember the first day he let me visit the lab. I swear it was like a spiritual experience. Being surrounded by all that equipment, it made me feel like I was approaching a gateway into the mind of God. My father later said he knew from that look on my face that I would follow in his footsteps. I was perfectly content with that and I immersed myself in the world of science from the moment I was capable of understanding it.
Every moment of my upbringing, my parents nurtured my thirst for knowledge. They enrolled me in extra classes, sent me to private schools, and got me every book I could consume. My natural knack for reason set me apart from most children. I remember at my first science camp I asked so many questions to my teachers I practically confounded their work with the other children. At times I overwhelmed them and I probably did not make many friends in the process. It appears to be the beginning of an overall lacking of certain social skills that may very well have culminated in these recent troubles I face.
If there was a flaw in my persona my parents certainly didn’t recognize it. I gave them no clues to indicate as such because I was so immersed in science. Yet I did not become anti-social. I constantly put myself out there, asking questions to people who shared my passion for reason. In this my mother was quite helpful. She always had a silver tongue and a quick wit, something many of my less social peers lacked. It helped me move forward and excel both in school and in my activities. By the time I was seven I was making integrated circuits and skipping grade levels on a routine basis. I took an IQ test a few years later and was labeled a genius. Everyone seemed to agree. I was destined for great things. Then I got my first taste of hardship.
Hank paused for a moment before writing another string of words next to the question mark. They consisted of concepts such as hardship, coping, and understanding. He circled them as well and drew a line to the big question mark that was next to the other group of words. Stepping back a bit, he stared intently at the text and tried extrapolating the answer he so desperately needed.
X-men Supreme: Jean Grey's Reflections is LIVE
Hope everyone isn't too stuffed with Halloween candy to enjoy a new entry in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series! I've been hard at work on the next installment for Supreme Reflections and this time I face one of the biggest challenges any X-men writer can possibly face. It involves writing a solid Jean Grey. I can't think of too many comic book characters, X-men or otherwise, that evoke such heated emotions from fans. In both fanfiction and comics, she divides entire fanbases because her personal story as well as her character is just so compelling. Capturing that in an entry of Supreme Reflections was a major challenge. Dare I say, it's the most challenging thing I've written for this fanfiction series to date. But I'm proud of how it turned out and I hope other X-men fans approve.
Supreme Reflections: Jean Grey
I'm very interested in getting feedback for this entry. I know there are plenty of Jean Grey fans out there with very strong opinions. I hope they've enjoyed my take on her in X-men Supreme thus far. Rest assured, I have big plans for her later on in this fanfiction series. However, part of what makes X-men Supreme so deep is the variations between my version of the characters and their comic, movie, and cartoon counterparts. Jean Grey is a part of a much larger tapestry of characterization and I'll continue to explore that with Hank McCoy's entry in the next installment of Supreme Reflections.
Speaking of which, I'm going to try and update sooner this time. I know I've stuck to a strict biweekly schedule for most of X-men Supreme, but I've been on a bit of a roll with Supreme Reflections so I hope to get the next entry out a little quicker. If I can't, I'll let everyone know here and on the X-men Supreme Official Blog. However long it takes me, I encourage everyone to give me feedback on my work. Please post your comments in each issue or contact me at any time. I appreciate all your support and hope to continue expanding the world of X-men Supreme. Until next time, take care and best wishes!

X-men Supreme Issue 43: War and Peace is LIVE!
The end has come, my friends. Well, the end of X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers anyways. That's right. The second installment of this fanfiction series has come to a close. I can honestly say this series has turned out better than I could have hoped. As a long-time X-men fan, it means a lot to be able to put together something like this. It means much more to have other X-men fans to share it with. X-men Supreme Volume 1: Mutant Revolution was about establishing the X-men and the world they lived in. X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers was about escalation. In the end Magneto changed the world in ways that will have long-lasting ramifications. Those ramifications will be explored in X-men Supreme Volume 3, but before we get to that story we must close out this one. With one issue left, I'm proud to end X-men Supreme Volume 2: Mutant Revolution. Thanks again everybody! I hope I've done something that X-men fans everywhere can appreciate.
Issue 43: War and Peace
So now that X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers is over, what's next for this fanfiction series? Well like I already said, there will be a Volume 3. I don't have a name for it yet, but I will announce it soon. Before we get to that point, I plan on doing another installment of Supreme Reflections. So many things happened to so many characters that there's no way I could have explored everything in Volume 2. I hope to dig a little deeper with some fan favorites as well as some important relationships. Stay tuned for more details! I also plan on doing something extra special before I begin Volume 3 of this fanfiction series. Stay tuned to for more details.
As always, I strongly encourage everyone who follows this series to review and post comments on each issue. I put the comments section in each issue for a reason. Don't be afraid to use it! Or if you want you can just contact me and I'll be happy to talk X-men or Marvel comics with you. Once again, I thank everyone for their support. I deeply appreciate it! Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

X-men Supreme Issue 41: Overlord Part 4 is LIVE!
The penultimate issue of the Overlord saga has arrived! It's a big moment for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. This arc has already made sweeping changes that can never be undone. The X-men are on the run. They are no longer heroes in the eyes of the government. They are like every other mutant, a threat to humanity that Magneto now leads. They have been forced out of their home and have opened old wounds in the Worthington family for a slim chance at stopping this madness. Secrets have been revealed. Ex-girlfriend have returned to further torment the X-men. Now they must make some tough choices before Magneto dooms the world to destruction. The end is near and nothing will be the same for X-men Supreme. I hope you enjoy it!
Issue 41: Overlord Part 4
As Overlord nears it's end, X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers will near it's end as well. This volume has been a blast to write. After writing X-men Supreme Volume 1: Mutant Revolution, the stage was set for so many stories. I only got to tell a small fraction of them, but I'm happy with how it's panned out and I'm even happier with what little feedback I've gotten from it. I'm always looking to improve this fanfiction series. So it's more vital than ever that you wonderful readers send me reviews and feedback. Please post it on each issue or contact me whenever you please. The end of this arc will set the stage for Volume 3 of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. As it draws closer, I'll drop some hints as to what it will entail. I hope you all enjoy it! Until then, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

X-men Supreme Issue 41: Overlord Part 4 PREVIEW
We're past the halfway point for the biggest event yet in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Everything is shaping up for a big finish. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this event will shape the course of all future stories for X-men Supreme. Just like a real Marvel event, there will be an aftermath and there will be stories that stem from that aftermath. I'm very excited to see it come together and I've been honored by all the support I've received from my wonderful readers. I hope that support continues as X-men Supreme continues to evolve into it's own world. The next few issues of this fanfiction series are vital and as such I've prepared an extended preview.
”Don’t waste your breath, old friend. There’s nothing left to say,” said Magneto stoically as he used his powers to set the amplifiers in place.
“I’m not…using her!” coughed Xavier, “You need…to remember!”
As X-men Supreme continues to unfold and diversify, the feedback I get becomes all the more vital. I know I say that a lot, but I mean every word of it! I love getting feedback, constructive or otherwise from my readers. It helps me become a better writer and it ensures that the X-men Supreme fanfiction series continues to improve. So if you're following this series, please take some time to review each issue in the review section or contact me at any time and I'll be happy to talk X-men with you. In the meantime, I'll continue updating other sections of the site. I know it's been a while since I updated the bios section, but I plan on creating new entires once the Overlord arc is over. I also hope to update the pics section soon. Stay tuned for more updates. Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

While the Brotherhood was catching their breath, Magneto was still going strong. Just he, Forge, and Exodus were working on the machine now. The master of magnetism was stoic, but there was still anticipation brimming from his demeanor. Every second they drew closer to completing this machine, it was a second closer to the new age he promised his mutant brethren. Being imprisoned and humiliated by humanity left him angry and resolute. He was willing to show mercy last time with the uprising, restricting his targets only to the corrupt human governments. Now all of humanity was going to pay for their crimes against homo superior.
This anger may have been silent, but Professor Charles Xavier sensed it even without his telepathy. Still bound with Hank near the back of the throne room, he watched anxiously as his old friend slipped further into madness. Over the years he saw Erik lose himself in his hatred many times before. This was by far the worst. His feelings towards humanity were strong, but he refused to believe the man behind those emotions would go so far.
“You can’t keep ignoring me, Erik. I will not stay silent while I watch you do this,” said Charles.
”Don’t waste your breath, old friend. There’s nothing left to say,” said Magneto stoically as he used his powers to set the amplifiers in place.
“I refuse to believe that. You’re still the same man who once believed in giving people a chance. Don’t act as if you’ve forgotten because I know you haven’t,” said Xavier strongly, “For years we were a team, using our powers for good to save innocent lives.”
“Innocent?” scoffed Magneto, “Mankind has no innocence. It took me years to realize that. You and your X-men are still deluded into thinking otherwise.”
“That’s anger and bitterness talking. I refuse to believe the man behind those emotions would believe in such madness. Have you forgotten the good you’ve seen in humanity? Have you forgotten those like your wife, Magda, who…”
But as soon as Xavier said that name, Magneto turned to his old friend in a rage and used his powers to choke him mercilessly with the metal shackles.
“Don’t you EVER utter that name, Charles!” he yelled, “Or so help me I will end you!”
“Charles!” exclaimed Hank, “Magneto, stop this!”
“No!” spat the master of magnetism, “Nobody is to ever mention my wife! Ever! I will not let you use her to try and distract me!”
